Measure Ground Length

1. Click on Measure Ground Length button in Workspace​

2. A Measurement window will open​

Following units are available in gIQ: Meter/ Kilometer/ Feet/ Mile and Nautical Mile.

3. In this example the unit meter is used​

4. To start using the measurement tool left click on the mouse and double left click to end the procedure​

In this example a terrain map layer has been used for the measurement.

5. In the Measurements window the result is displayed​

You have the option to Clear all and/or Close the window. Your measurements will be automatically stored after closing the window.

6. Option to copy the measurements​

7. Click on Close to end the procedure​
